HIGH DEFINITION

After the high definition trends on tv channels now, I just came to realise another strong wind of HD is blowing....and this time its going to your face.....it's what we call:

HIGH DEFINITION MAKE UP

Yes. And unlike HD TV where you aim for a clearer picture, HD makeup tends to blur all your fine lines & wrinkles while concealing all your flaws. So, even if you look under a magnifying glass, your makeup will be absolutely FLAWLESS. And I thought airbrush is already brilliant enough. (shakes head)

*SMACK* wake up! Ok, back to this HD make up.....

HD Make up has been used in filming purpose especially in the set of Desperate Housewives, CSI and Weeds, due to the introduction of HDTV. Of course, since audience are able to watch you clearer now, these paranoia celebs will need more 'powderful' concealer to conceal those scars and lines of yours. Plus....those drama all involve women of mid thirties. So HD make up seem inevitable. Imagine.....plastic surgery, botox, make up....PERFECT. Add in HD make up.....SUPER MORE THAN PERFECT....MAGNIFICENT!

Of course eventually this drop-dead gorgeous technique ends up in the red carpets where celebs make use of it to appear even younger, even more radiant and even juicier!

Spears, Pitt, Jolie, Hilton, Beckham, Timberlake.....all these famous ones are already using it!

So when there is such chio makeup famously use by such chio people, When celebs use them, we, the small potatoes of the big big world, want them too!

So introducing the products:

Smashbox High Definition SPF 15 Foundation....oil free, weightless, contains revitalizing and firming ingredients. FLAWLESS COMPLEXION! And apparently, its already soooooo good at hiding the flaws, you can even skip the concealer!

And gosh....there is even a cosmetic line by CARGO call blu_ray! Talk about obsession, man! I mean...woman!

"The limited edition makeup line includes mattifiers, pressed powders, blush highlighters, mascaras, and lip glosses that are specially formulated with ingredients that camouflage imperfections in front of the unforgiving HD camera. For example, the Pressed Power has photochromatic pigments that help color stay consistent under all types of lighting, and the Blush/Highlighter creates an optical blurring that makes skin look softer. " -- quoted from tech.yahoo site

OMG! It's like Adobe Photoshop became reality!!! It's like you can actually apply it and not just click click around your photo to take off those imperfections. So YAY! we can all throw away our photoshop skills...or for non-tech savvy ppl like me who still dun get the photoshop techniques like Xiaxue.....we need not worry....

WE CAN ACTUALLY DO THE PHOTOSHOP STRAIGHT ONTO OUR FACE!

Not only the photos appear flawless.....YOU YOURSELF will be absolutely perfect in naked eyes!

What are you waiting for now? Go get it!!!!

*runs away to google up the cheapest way to get those magic fairy wands*

P/S...There are still other brands of HD make up lar...just that I happen to be watching the Entertainment Channel over at Foxtel and that pro make up artist uses them...along with a apparently super-geng mascara from Prescriptive and the Physicians Formula bronzer/ blusher. That makeup artist say Ellen Pompeo uses that powder palette too worrrrrr......

Don't know if you can get it in Malaysia but I am sure you can get it at just normal Price Line pharmacy in Australia......

*runs away to the nearest pharmacy*
